We recently had the pleasure of dining at Brownes cafe at Allandale road recently with my work colleagues and I must say, it was an impeccable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly by the gentleman don't remember his name. He was not only friendly and very attentive throughout the service. The food was incredibly tasty. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. Especially chicken pie was a culinary delight. The menu offered a great variety for everyone. Beyond the food , service was brilliant too. Overall they have exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a place that delivers both outstanding food and top notch service this is the place to visit for sure. We will certainly be returning soon! Thank you Brownes..
The chicken and lamb is halal. The service was great. You get way more better portion size than Cue and the food comes out hot and it is tasty! I was stuffed! I had a tuna and cheese panini and it comes with chips, salad and coleslaw. I think it was around 6.50. My other half had 3 omelette with chicken and salad and chips and our guest had eggs florentine and we got a tea pot for two . It came to 27. Cheaper than Cue and nearby cafes. The customer service was brilliant and I will be going back again with friends and family! Thank you browns for giving me another place to visit in Leicester for breakfast and lunch!
After everyones lockdown and travelling issues me and the family were finally able to pay Browns a vist. It was worth the wait. Spoilt for choice with the menu but never complicated, they had a specials menu and i ordered from that in the end. Ingredients were as fresh as!, and all food was prepared freshly too. So nice and with good presentation as well. Would definitely recommend a visit and we'll be going again soon! P.S Best poached eggs i've ever had (see photos) 5 Stars
Great service and nice little cafe. Definitely going back as the amount of food for the price was great and the melt I had was amazing. Highly recommended if you are in the area and after some lunch.

Visited Brown’s Cafe in Oadby, Leicester, and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was equally impressive; Raj and Ajay were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this cafe for great food and outstanding hospitality!
I came here at 4:00pm yesterday for a sandwhich & a latte. I tried the cafes next door first as they wasn’t closing till 5:00pm, but this one was closing at 4:30pm. The ones next door, they stopped serving food even though there was still one hour before closing time. Browns Cafe Bistro were happy to serve me any food that wasn’t hot, they were friendly and very accommodating. I had the cheese & tomato sandwhich with a side salad which was lovely, then a decaf late which was perfect. Will be returning. The staff are great & helpful, food is presentable and tasty. 5*
